Objective:
Develop naming, promotional and conference materials for a symposium on Latin American immigrant rights held in Los Angeles.

Description:
Using the conference title Aqui, which means here in Spanish, as the foundation for the concept of what it means for immigrants who live here in America. The iconography of the ragged directional arrow pointing down toward here (the States) symbolizes the struggle many of had to endure to find their way to a land of opportunity.

The mailable brochure contains a photographic narrative of a journey across the border. Both the brochure and posters were printed over sized sheets of newsprint in two colors, and meant to be distributed in large quantities do to the low cost of producing the documents.
